Terms of Use
Beta. Last updated October 1, 2026.
LD Engage (the “Product”) is the hub LaunchDarkly Professional Services uses to plan and deliver customer engagements. By accepting these terms and using the Product, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Product. Speak to your LaunchDarkly contact about another way to work together.
1. What LD Engage is
The Product is an internal beta tool that LaunchDarkly Professional Services built to deliver its engagements. It is not part of the LaunchDarkly platform. The service levels, support plans, and other commitments that cover the LaunchDarkly platform don’t apply to it.
2. Your organization's agreement with LaunchDarkly
If you use the Product as part of an engagement, your organization’s agreement with LaunchDarkly (such as a master services agreement, order form, or statement of work) still governs the professional services we deliver. It also governs the confidentiality of the information you share with us, including through the Product. If these terms conflict with that agreement, that agreement controls.
3. Who may use it
The Product is for LaunchDarkly staff and for the people LaunchDarkly invites to an engagement. Use it only for that engagement and on behalf of your organization. Don’t share your sign-in codes or let anyone else use your account.
4. Beta software, provided “as is”
Except as your organization’s agreement with LaunchDarkly provides otherwise, the Product is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, title, and non-infringement. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice. Training content, examples, and generated reports are guidance: check them against the LaunchDarkly documentation and your own requirements before you rely on them in production.
5. Availability
There is no service-level agreement and no guarantee of uptime or performance. We may change, suspend, restrict, or discontinue the Product, for any user or entirely, at any time. Download any artifacts or reports you want to keep. When an engagement ends, we may archive it, and archived engagements are read-only.
6. What you put in
You’re responsible for the information you add, such as prerequisite answers, decisions, comments, action items, and files, and for having the right to share it. Everyone on the engagement can see it, including your colleagues and the LaunchDarkly team. LaunchDarkly staff can also see the engagement’s full record.
- No secrets. Don’t enter SDK keys, API access tokens, passwords, or other credentials, including in comments and uploaded files.
- No sensitive personal or regulated data. Don’t enter personal data about your own customers or end users, protected health information, payment card data, government identifiers, or similar data. The Product isn’t designed or certified for it.
- Comments stay on the record. Deleting a comment removes it from the session, but LaunchDarkly staff can still see it as part of the engagement record.
7. Credentials you share
If you share a track credential, for example on LinkedIn, anyone with its link can see your name, the credential, and the date you earned it. Credentials recognize training completed. They don’t certify your skills or your organization’s implementation, and we may revoke one that was issued in error.
8. Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the Product. That includes trying to get around its access controls, see data from engagements you aren’t part of, or disrupt or compromise its security or availability. It also includes using automated means beyond normal use, and using the Product to break the law or infringe anyone’s rights. The training content belongs to LaunchDarkly. You may use it for your organization’s own LaunchDarkly program.
9. Limitation of liability
Except as your organization’s agreement with LaunchDarkly provides otherwise, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, LaunchDarkly is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, goodwill, or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the Product, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
10. Feedback and support
Support is best effort. Send questions, bugs, and ideas with the Feedback button in the app, to your LaunchDarkly contact, or to bnorman@launchdarkly.com. We may use feedback to improve the Product and our services without any obligation to you.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If we make a material change, we’ll update the date above and ask you to accept the new version the next time you open the Product.
